Developer's Training again

Last week has been another training. The funny part is the fact there have been no real novice developers on it. There are two already working programmers who wanted to learn something from our training, and there is a Director of Technology who seemed to check on us and our training. Funny to pretend they are newbies while they are not :)

In whole, I am glad how things go, in my opinion what we provide really helps to become more professional.

Reaching the New Year Eve

It's been too long since I've posted anything here. Not that everything has been too boring to talk about, I've just had no mood for posting.

New Year is coming though, and it's going to be interesting by itself, despite my being a boring person.

Yesterday our company made a great corporate party. Though I don't dance or drink much myself, I had a lot of fun looking how people have their fun in their own way. After all, it's been a second time in my life when I visited a restaurant, our company is growing bigger and bigger, and it was a good occasion to meet all our people some of whom I don't personally know yet.

Meanwhile, we've finished training course with our third group of students! This time it was not so much fun, we're moved from room to room because of other trainings and important meetings, students were restless and were enjoying their time too much... Okey, we'll see about that, next time I'll take personal precautions against such behavior... In other words, I am going to be a little bit more harsh and business-like for the students.

A single week is left before the New Year. We in Ukraine celebrate the New Year even more than Xmas, and the New Year holidays are much more a milestone for us than Xmas Eve or something. Hope that the new year will bring something big and good in my life, I really expect it ;)

Sculpturing

I've made my first try (after a long time) in sculpturing. A plastic material that hardens exposed to the air has been used. See what I got. Rather ugly, but nice tries nevertheless :)

Going to keep the limp smaller one on my bookshelf, the other, bigger one, is going to be given as a gift to the colleague in the office.

I am moleskinned

Since yesterday, i am a happy owner of Moleskin (r), I dreamt about it long enough that this has really happened to be a noticeable event for me.

I decided to post my artworks here, anyway I need something to post, and sketches are not the worst choice for the blog ;)

I am a teacher (for now)

As I announced before, I've become a teacher, my colleague and me are leading classes for the newcomers who enter our company. I must say, I love the process, teaching is fun. Of course, it's only fun when you are remaining a developer while teaching, real teachers in our country are not as profitable.

Strangely I will miss when our class will come to the end.

Halloween is nearly there

We're double celebrating tomorrow, my second half's anniversary and... you know, the Samhain at its best :)

Personally, I am against setting a bonfire in the apartment, so we restricted ourselves with only making a Jack-o-lantern. It's good this year, as for me it's much better than previous attempts.

Vacation is going on

It's the third day of my short vacation... It would be too boring to do nothing if it wasn't such a fun :) November 1st is going to be a start of my new errr... activity, I am going to start training people.

I decided to delay my threadless career for a while, it became a too big disappointment for me. Once I have enough time and bravery, I'll try to draw, just to draw on a piece of paper.
